Video/DVD Loan Policy
The Terryville Public Library has two categories of videos:
1. Feature films and children's videos and an ever growing collection of DVds are located behind the circulation desk. They may be borrowed by anyone over the age of 18 who present a valid library card. Five videos and 3 DVDs per card may be borrowed. These videos and DVds may be borrowed for a three day loan period and will be due by the close of regular library hours. Overdue fines are $1.00 per day per video or DVD, with a maximum of $10.00 per video or DVD. A replacement cost will be assessed for lost or damaged videos.
2. Non-fiction videos, - medical, how-tos, computer, etc. - are shelved with the regular book collection in their corresponding categories, in both the adult and children's rooms. These videos may be borrowed for a two week loan period and will be due by the close of regular library hours. Overdue fines are 10 cents per day per video.
Reserves will not be taken for feature films or children's videos.
ALL VIDEOS MUST BE RETURNED INSIDE THE LIBRARY.
