Special Needs Playgroup Spotlight Presentation
"Your Dependent with Special Needs. Making Their Future More Secure."

Financial Services Representative and MetLife's Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids Specialist will present information on:
- Special Needs Trust
- Protecting Government Benefit Eligibility
- Guardianship and Conservatorship/ Guardian Ad Litem,
- Financial Security and Funding Options

Special Needs Playgroup meets every Saturday starting September 8th from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm and provides time for children to socialize through facilitated play. Parents are able to meet informally during this time and support each other through shared experiences. The program includes a craft. Siblings of all ages are welcome and registration is open to residents of all towns.
Additional activities may be scheduled during this time for participants of the program, including parent training, music “class” for children, and ice-cream socials.

A collection of titles pertinent to parents, caregivers and individuals with special needs are available in the Children’s Room of the Terryville Public Library, as well as a Playgroup binder with current events, legislative alerts and special announcements from local organizations serving this special population.
