Circulation Policy
Patrons must have their library card in order to charge out materials. In the event a person has forgotten their card materials will be held for 2 days before being returned to the shelf.
No materials will be renewed over the phone.
A. Registration for Library Cards:

Any adult resident of the Town of Plymouth qualifies to receive a Terryville Library card, providing they present proper identification. (current driver's license or official document with name and address)

Juveniles under 14 years old qualify to receive a Terryville Library card providing a parent or guardian sign their application form.

Young children are eligible to receive a Terryville Library card when they are able to print their first name. A parent or guardian must also sign the application form.

Terryville Library cards are issued for a period of three years and must be renewed in person after the expiration date.

A lost library card will be replaced for $1.00 fee.

Library material circulating for 28 days: Most children and adult books

Library materials circulating for 14 days: All magazines and periodicals; Newer adult books, both fiction and non-fiction, instructions videos; circulating encyclopedia, and music and books on tape

Library materials circulating for 2 days: Feature film videos, and Museum passes

D. Overdue Fines

Adult and Children's books, magazines, books on tape, audiocassettes, Cds, and records are 10 cents per day with a maximum fine of $5.00 per item.
